Al-Mu'ayyadiyya Noria

At the entrance of the historic Al-Tawafra neighborhood, next to Al-Ma'muriyya Noria and Mu'ayyad Pasha Al-Azem Orchard.

Surroundings

Known as the smallest of Hama's norias; built to irrigate the private orchard of Mu'ayyad Pasha Al-Azem, featuring a single rim and 32 radial spokes.

Associated with an ancient folk legend about the river spirit beneath Al-Aramel Mill, explaining its weeping groan, and sacrificial traditions to protect swimmers.

Historically: Irrigating orchards and operating the flour mill. Currently: Heritage destination and scenic walking spot.
